The Jewish Bride and the Cat
Today We, Zarathustra the Celestial Cat reveal to the world the true version of the famous Rembrandt’s masterpiece “The Jewish Bride” the hidden gem of which is a kitty:

The painting gained its name “The Jewish Bride” in the early 19th century when an Amsterdam art collector identified the subject as that of a Jewish father bestowing a kitty in a necklace upon his daughter’s hands on her wedding day.
Good father, such a good idea to adopt a shelter cat on the first day of marriage and to give him the best care!
But this interpretation is no longer accepted, and, though the identity of the couple is still uncertain, art historians think that they should be Isaac and Rebecca.
When Isaac married Rebecca, they did not have children for 20 years.
Of course, you know what they did: they adopted a cat!

According to Rembrandt biographer Christopher White, the completed composition is “one of the greatest expressions of the tender fusion of spiritual and physical love in the history of painting.”
Of course, the cat’s unconditional love for his humans demonstrated in his relaxed laid-back pose in their hands and his soft fur that they are touching in delight to touch makes this statement true.
