Love is Gold

Love is pure gold, as you may see it in the most famous Gustav Klimt’s paintings. Once We sat for the great artist, on laps of his beloved friend Adele Bloch-Bauer

Adele immediately fell in love with Us and was thrilled to have Us on her laps:

The painter created a special golden leash and a diadem for Us to wear at the session

We kindly tolerated the costume, We found the company of Adele known as a huge art lover, to be rather entertaining even without being sauced with shrimps

We spent a nice evening together, and Adele craved to adopt Us, but We told her it’s not a moment because We should travel through the time to find Our true mom

The Golden Lady understood Us and accepted Our will, though she was so sad when we left

So Gustav was so kind to give her the original version of the painting with Our image, to keep in secret as the memory of Our encounter

Then he painted the version for the public which is currently on display in Ronald S. Lauder’s Neue Galerie New York:

Look how lonely she is in the painting!

Now you understand the weird gesture of Adele’s hands. In the true version, she exclaims: “Awww, just have a look at my golden kitty, he is so beautiful, the work of art by himself, I even don’t dare to touch him!”. Listening to this praise, We began to knead her knee and a little bit of pain added to her exalted hands and face expression

In the commonly known version, Adele is wringing her hands thinking: “Where is my kitty? Did he found his true mom? I am missing him so much…”

Dear Adele, thank you for remembering Us forever. Yes, We traveled through time and finally found Our true mom, and once we all shall meet in a very beautiful place
