We, Zarathustra the Cat, are happy to announce that We finally found the missing part of the painting by the famous American impressionist artist Frank Weston Benson “Sunlight”:
Now it becomes evident at what the model, the artist’s daughter Eleanor, is actually gazing so attentively:
To capture playful cats rising off the water is a rare privilege!
Just have a look at the unfinished version, currently at Indianapolis Museum of Art:
It is evident cats are missing there!
