If you see a mess in your house, your favorite pipe lying at the floor, catnip scattered around, and your cat rolling on his back, you think the disaster is his blame.
Nope, it’s just the treachery of images, it’s not a cat who did it!

Genious René Magritte was the first who made this amazing discovery, when he found Us in his atelier. Then he painted the true version of his famous masterpiece.
Unfortunately, contemporary art critics told him “Hey Rene, don’t forget that you are surrealist! you should be more enigmatic, who will buy a contemporary artwork, if everything is clear in it? Get rid of the cat!”
So René Magritte sadly painted the cat over and created a commonly known version, currently on view in LACMA museum, with only a pipe on it:

But We are sure they have somewhere the true version with the cat there.
Don’t hesitate to ask them to show it!
