More of thiS cream!
Today We, Zarathustra the Cat, reveal the true version of Edvard Munch’s 1895 pastel painting “The Scream”:
We already showed you the 1910 version of the masterpiece.
Edvard Munch returned to the theme of the Scream several times in his life searching to add more drama to the happening.
To achieve his aim, the artist gave us just a little bit of delicious fresh cream and put a cup with it aside, saying that We are too fat to finish it without harming Our health.
We began to scream: “Moar, moar of thiS cream!”
Thus this painting, full of the tragedy of the everyday life of a fat cat on a diet, was created.
True art requires sacrifice, you know!
Thus speaks Zarathustra the Cat
P.S. Finally, Edvard granted Us all of this cream. Then he faced some unexpected consequences of having a cat that just overate, and renamed the artwork into “The Scream, or No More of thiS cream!”. The painting became the symbol of having something too much.
