Venus’ selfie
Titian is famous for his Venus portraits. One of them, “Venus with a Mirror”, has the nickname “Venus in furs”. No, it is not because of what you are thinking.
It is because human memory still keeps in its subconsciousness the true look of Titian’s Venus:
Come on, Zarathustra, you’ll say, but why does the cat see himself as a lady?
That is because we cats sincerely think that we are your gods of love.
So, be sure….. if your cat is staring attentively at a mirror, that means he sees himself as Venus there.
But the opposite is also true: when a lady stares attentively at a mirror, she thinks “Oh gosh how beautiful I am! Definitely I am… a cat!”
Just compare this elegant recursive work to a commonly known version of the Titian’s masterpiece to be seen at the National Gallery of Art in Washington:
You see that Titian was a real expert in cats and women’s souls, but he could reveal this secret knowledge at his old fashioned time!
But now better days are coming.

In the video, you can see live how souls of a cat and his humble assistant happily unite forever in the personality of a cat blogger.
Yes, that is true, we, cats, need you, humans to type our profound thoughts in our blogs: keyboards of your computers are too large for our tiny fingers, you know.
You, humans, should be honored by this mission to preach cats wisdom to your brothers and sisters
Thus speaks Zarathustra the Cat
