The Cat and Christmas
Christmas is coming!
Many people worldwide celebrate it, originally it is Catholic Christmas, and the word “catholic’ means “according to the whole”. So we, cats, being the whole of the Internet, should celebrate it in the CATholic way.
We Zarathustra the Cat, are thinking today about the popular subject of many famous paintings: “The Adoration of the Magi”. One can always find a lot of animals in the paintings, they are cows, donkeys, and even dogs, but you never will find a cat there! In order to correct this historical injustice, We restored an original version of “The Adoration of the Magi” by Gentile da Fabriano. One can see that babies adored cute cats from the 1st century A.D.
You can see how the presence of a cat brought this scene closer to us, living more than 2000 years later.
You can compare it to the commonly known masterpiece to be seen at the Uffizi Gallery:
The painting is not complete without a cat in it! But they have a secret room in the gallery where the true version rests until humanity is ready to embrace it:
So cats do celebrate with the Catholics, and please don’t forget to prepare a tasty Christmas dinner and nice gifts for your beloved cats!
