“Meows in Museums!”: Fat Cat Art comes to real life

We, Zarathustra the Cat, enjoy Ourselves as the first cat contemporary artist, working in fields of performance and appropriation art. You already know, that We are officially recognized as a writer, being a co-author of the book Fat Cat Art: Famous Masterpieces Improved by a Ginger Cat with Attitude. Penguin Random House USA is Our publisher. Another human institution recognized Us as a creative non-human person: Art Porters gallery from Singapore, with whom We are successfully working last 2 years. They made Our first in Asia purrsonal exhibition “Meows in Museums!” from October 6 to 30, 2016 at the Fullerton Hotel Singapore

The exhibition showcased 20 limited edition mixed media creations (digital paintings and lenticular prints) specially commissioned by the gallery from Us and Our humble assistant Svetlana Petrova. True versions of famous masterpieces by Van Gogh, Degas, Monet, Klimt, and Vermeer, as well as National Gallery Singapore’s famous Epic Poem of Malaya by Chua Mia Tee, restored by Us, were presented at this one cat show.

10% of the sales proceeds of each artwork contribute to supporting the Cat Welfare Society Singapore, whose work for the sake of cats touched Us profoundly.
